Sisters are the people who have the same history as you, really get you, and will be at your side and behind you when you need them.
Well, after Trenton and Princeton, Washington had a little trouble with 2 battles - Brandywine and Germantown, PA. We have some news reporters interviewing General Washington about what happened at Germantown:
I didn't know all that....gosh were there any deaths? Looks like we should have waited for the smoke to clear or at the very least not fire on a building that couldn't be demolished. Good job George, Reporter Lexie and Reporter Addie. Oh yes and reporter Kristi. Who's Bob? Better yet Where's Bob?
Yep there were deaths Vonda. The person that was leading the attack on the building was Henry Knox (the ox) - you know, the one that carried the cannons over mountains in the middle of the winter. He was the head of the artillery - he learned all of his information about artillery and war from books as he was a book seller before the war. He had read that you never leave a fortified castle of your enemy behind you. Thus the reason for trying to destroy the Chew House that had Brittish Soldiers in it!Bob is the anchor man we are reporting to - silly!!!! (wink, wink)
Such great reporting! I love all the details with the map and the pictures, very helpful to see what went on!
awwww that was very cute and it helped me with my home work (:
